Grace Poe To Hold A Rally In Baguio City On February 23 (Tuesday) At The Melvin Jones Grand Stand

Grace Poe, Chiz Escudero, and their senatorial slate are coming to Baguio City on February 23 (Tuesday) for a scheduled campaign rally at the Melvin Jones Grand Stand. The event will start at four in the afternoon. Poe is gunning for the highest public office in the land with Escudero as her running mate. They're both independent candidates.

The tandem's senatorial slate is as follows: Congressman Sherwin Gatchalian of Valenzuela City, Congressman Roman Romulo of Pasig City, Neri Colmenares of the party list Bayan Muna, Attorney Lorna Kapunan, Samuel Pagdilao of the party list ACT-CIS, actor Edu Manzano, Senator Vicente Sotto III, Richard Gordon, Juan Miguel Zubiri, Manila Vice-Mayor Isko Moreno, Senator Ralph Recto, and Susan Ople.

Poe is fresh from a strong showing at the first Philippine presidential debate held last Sunday in Cagayan De Oro City. Political analysts lauded her performance in said debate, citing her composure in answering the questions thrown at her. As some of the other candidates resorted to personally attacking each other, Poe didn't waver and simply focused on the matters and topics being discussed.

Poe will be up against four other candidates in the May elections - Rodrigo Duterte, Jejomar Binay, Miriam Defensor Santiago, and Mar Roxas.
